Wednesday Night!
Our youth band is playing Wednesday night at North Creek Church in Keller…it’s awesome that our guys have put together such a great team that is able to bless other youth ministries in our area with a heart of worship!
This is what we want to do at Generation Church…influence this generation, especially in our area, to pursue Christ with all they are and with all they have! Let’s keep it up!
AWESOME Retreat!
What an incredible weekend it was…so good that it has taken me a couple days to recover and be able to write this little tidbit! Low ropes course, Teen Mania worship team, and all the other good stuff! We had a great time making strong decisions to live a faith that changed lives…to be friends who would, like the men in Mark 2, carry each other to the feet of Jesus!
Can’t wait for the future!
What to do?
Choices. They’re huge! Take tonight for example…do I watch the Best of the West (Mavericks) vs. the Best of the East (Celtics) or do I watch the 2-hour season premier of LOST? It’s a tough one…my ‘last channel’ thumb will be busy.
Choices. They’re huge! Take life for example…do I watch others live their dreams or do I start to pursue mine? This one isn’t so tough…or is it? I’ve got to start making the decisions that will take me to my destination.
Decisions create momentum.
Switch was awesome!
Switch went really well tonight…the worship was fun and powerful all at the same time. I think everyone made a decision to be more purposeful about their friendships and if people did that then this generation would be much better off.
It’s great to be with friends…challenging each other, encouraging each other, and worshipping together! Let’s do it again sometime…maybe Feb. 10th at 7pm.
